After planting our fig tree in 2025 we were not 100% sure we would get fruit this year. It seems we're in luck.
Jungle Thinking
July 2026: Back in the Jungle again
Work in the Jungle seems endless. Everything grows (great) but most of what does is stuff we don't want (not great). To get to the point where we're able to plant is a massive task that runs in cycles, and there are always more Triffids!
This time around we're clearing and covering the cleared land with matting which should prevent the demon weeds from getting out of control.
We did, however, finally manage to plant a selection of seed potatoes this time around.
